Arctic Cold To Return Overnight: MN Weather

Following an especially warming Tuesday, when the high will reach 38, Arctic air will return to the Twin Cities metro later tonight.

MINNEAPOLIS — Following an especially warming Tuesday, when the high will reach 38, Arctic air will return to the Twin Cities metro overnight.

Wednesday's high will be 5 degrees. With the wind chill, the low will feel like 17 degrees below zero. High temperatures will rise back up into the teens this weekend.

"An Arctic cold front will move through the area late this afternoon and evening, bringing gusty winds and much colder temperatures," the National Weather Service said.

"Patchy blowing snow and icy spots on roads and other surfaces are possible."
