"Bob Dylan: Up Close and Personal" Panel Discussion Comes to Parkway Theatre
Star Tribune's John Bream gathers a noteworthy panel of Dylan experts to celebrate the release of his new book Dylan: Disc By Disc

The Parkway Theater is pleased to announce “Bob Dylan: Up Close and Personal,” a lively and colorful panel discussion with four Dylan experts, on September, 10 at the Parkway Theater, 4814 Chicago Av. S., Minneapolis.
The panelists are all featured in Jon Bream’s acclaimed new book, Dylan: Disc by Disc. Bream, longtime critic for the Star Tribune, will lead a discussion with University of Minnesota professor Alex Lubet, who teaches classes on Dylan; Paul Metsa, Minneapolis singer-songwriter-author who, like Dylan, grew up on the Iron Range; and Minneapolis writer-singer Kevin Odegard, who played on Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks album and wrote a book about the experience. Bream, Metsa and Odegard have each spent considerable time with Dylan.
In addition to the discussion and a Q&A with the audience, there will be giveaways of books, music and other prizes. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
