Burnsville Hosts Community Fishing Day Saturday

Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge staff will be present to mentor and provide fishing poles and artificial bait.

Burnsville, Minnesota – The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is hosting a community fishing day at Sunset Pond this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Refuge staff and volunteers will be present to mentor and provide fishing poles and artificial bait. Minnesota fishing regulations apply and all participants 16 and older will need to purchase a fishing license prior to participating.

A license can be purchased online at the DNR website.

Sunset Pond is located at 3350 W. Burnsville Pkwy, Burnsville, MN 55337. Parking is limited. Organizers ask participants to consider walking, biking, or using public transit.
