Butler Screams, Swears At Wolves GM In 1st Practice Back: Report

Jimmy Butler was at times "vociferous" and "emotional" during practice, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

MINNEAPOLIS — Despite his repeated requests to be traded, Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Jimmy Butler returned to practice Wednesday. And while the bad blood between Butler and his teammates is no secret, what reportedly took place today will no doubt shock fans and players from around the league.

Sources told ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski that during practice Wednesday, Butler was "verbally challenging teammates, coaches and front office."

While at times "vociferous" and "emotional," sources said Butler confronted coach Tom Thibodeau and general manager Scott Layden, as well as teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins.

Butler even swore at Layden, according to Wojnarowski.

Butler left his team "largely speechless," says Wojnarowski, but NBA fans and reporters on Twitter had plenty to say.
