Car Fire Blocks I-94 Eastbound In Minneapolis

UPDATE: The scene has been cleared and traffic has resumed on Interstate 94.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Multiple lanes on Interstate 94 eastbound are blocked due to a car fire, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The fire began just outside the Lowry Hill Tunnel Tuesday morning.

Transit officials expect delays for the next 15 minutes.
