Case Keenum Posts Farewell Message To Minnesota

I'm not crying, you're crying.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — It's over. Case Keenum's short but enchanted run with the Minnesota Vikings has come to a close. Now all that's left to do is say goodbye.

This offseason, the Vikings front office chose to let the top three quarterbacks on its roster — Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, and Teddy Bridgewater — hit free agency as it pursued Kirk Cousins, who by all accounts will be playing in purple next year.

Keenum signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2017 for one year, $2 million. The Vikings went 13–3 in the regular season and made it to the NFC Championship game with Keenum at the helm. He is now expected to sign with the Denver Broncos for two years at around $18 million per year.

From the Minneapolis Miracle to the delightful anecdotes of Keenum's neighbors voluntarily shoveling his driveway (the Texas-born QB admitted he had "no idea" how to shovel), the 2017-2018 season will surely go down as one of the most memorable seasons in Vikings history.

Keenum took to Twitter Wednesday to thank Minnesota for the memories:

The message evidently left Vikings fans in a puddle of tears:

Fans also wished Keenum lots of luck with his new team (except when playing the Vikings).
