Eagles Fan Stole Seat From U.S. Bank Stadium: Reports

An investigation was launched after video surfaced of a man leaving U.S. Bank with a stadium seat.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Leaving Minneapolis with the Lombardi Trophy wasn't enough for one Eagles fan who apparently believes the spoils of war include a plastic stadium seat. The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority launched an investigation Monday after video shared on social media showed an Eagles fan leaving the Super Bowl with a stadium chair in hand.

"We are aware of the video of a fan leaving the stadium with a stadium seat and our security team is investigating the incident. Per our standard operating procedure, damaged or missing seats will be repaired or replaced immediately," the MSFA told the Pioneer Press.

A photo posted on Reddit shows one missing seat and two other seats without backs. "Another angle of the seats I saw Eagles fans kick out while “celebrating” the guy in the hat was the one I saw for sure break one, the other ones we heard, but didn’t see, though the only people sitting there were eagles fans in those two rows," user SoDakZak wrote.
