Fun Halloween Activities in Kenwood

beARTrageous kicks off their week of fun Halloween activities for all ages with a Zombie flash mob & Halloween party on Sat, Oct 24.

Thrill the World Minneapolis is set to give young and old Halloween lovers the chance to participate in an afternoon of fun, including a worldwide simultaneous dance of Thriller right in the heart of downtown Kenwood. You HAVE to SEE this! The dance is at 5pm and will involve a worldwide radio countdown and broadcast.

Admission is free and there are plenty of other fun activities going on even for non-dancers:

  • zombie Makeovers
  • performers from Chicks On Sticks
  • spooky storytelling
  • performances from The Big Epic Show
  • ART creation station

beARTrageous continues the Halloween fun with these ARTrageous happenings:

  • Mon, 6:30-8pm, Pumpkin Painting, ALL Ages
  • Tue, 7-9pm, Sugar Skull Canvas Painting, 12+
  • Wed, 7:30-10pm, Wacky Witch Girls Night Out, Adults only

Thrill the World Minneapolis is hosted by beARTrageous and Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board, with support from the Kenwood Isles Area Association, the Lowry Hill Neighborhood Association and local businesses. Proceeds will benefit local non-profit, The Bridge for Youth, an emergency shelter for 10-17 year old youth. Participants are encouraged to bring spare change and dollars to donate to The Bridge for Youth and make a direct impact on the lives of children in our community.
