I-94 Ramp Closures In Minneapolis Begin In April
These closures are part of the Downtown-Crosstown and I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center projects.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Beginning Monday morning, April 16, motorists will experience several ramp closures to and from westbound Interstate 94 near downtown Minneapolis, including:
- Westbound I-94 ramp to 11th Street
- Eastbound I-394 ramp to westbound I-94
- Northbound Lyndale Avenue S ramp to westbound I-94
All three ramps will remain closed through mid-June 2018.
For the westbound I-94 ramp to 11th Street closure, motorists should follow the posted detour and continue on westbound I-94 to the Lyndale Avenue–Hennepin Avenue exit and follow northbound Hennepin Avenue to 12th Street.

Motorists who use the westbound I-94 ramp to 11th Street to access Grant Street and Fifth Avenue South will also need to find alternate routes.
Access to 11th Street, Grant Street and Fifth Avenue South from northbound I-35W will remain open.

The eastbound I-394 ramp to westbound I-94 closure detour is to take northbound Highway 100, prior to the I-394/I-94 junction, to eastbound Highway 55, to northbound Lyndale Avenue and then to the westbound I-94 entrance ramp. Access from eastbound I-394 to eastbound I-94 will remain open.
The northbound Lyndale Avenue S ramp to westbound I-94 closure detour route is to continue northbound onto Lyndale Avenue N and use the westbound I-94 entrance ramp just north of Seventh Street. Access from Lyndale Avenue S to westbound I-394 will remain open.
