A​mazon's Restaurant Delivery Service Now Available in the Twin Cities

Prime members, if you're reading this in the Twin Cities, food from your favorite local restaurants is clicks away.

Amazon's restaurant delivery service is now serving the Twin Cities.

Starting today, Amazon Prime customers in the area can enjoy free one-hour delivery from their favorite local restaurants via Amazon with no menu markups.

Amazon features a diverse selection of local Twin Cities restaurants available to order from, including Hell’s Kitchen, The Lowry, Broders Cucina Italiana, French Meadow Bakery and BlueFox Indian Bar and Grill.

Customers will find a wide range of cuisines, including American, Italian, Mediterranean, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese.

The Star Tribune reported that Amazon is entering an already crowded space in the Twin Cities, with established restaurant delivery services here such as Postmates, DoorDash, and Bite Squad.

Amazon hopes to stand out in the Twin Cities by offering no delivery fees or menu markups for its Prime customers.

The restaurant delivery service can be accessed via the Amazon app or Amazon website.
