Minneapolis 'Flyover' Ramp Closes Through 2021

Hopefully, the Minnesota Vikings will have won a Super Bowl by the time the ramp reopens.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — As part of the massive, multi-year construction project in the area, the Interstate 35W northbound exit to Interstate 94 westbound, also known as the Minneapolis "flyover" ramp, closed Friday. It won't reopen until the fall of 2021.

Motorists who regularly take the flyover ramp will now be detoured to north on I-35W, to I-694, back to I-94.

Hopefully, the Minnesota Vikings will have won a Super Bowl by the time the ramp reopens.
