Minnesota To Allow Outdoor Service At Restaurants In June: Report
The plans for reopening the state's bars, restaurants, and "places of public accommodation" will be officially announced later Wednesday.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Gov. Tim Walz Wednesday will announce a plan to allow restaurants to serve customers at outdoor tables, according to a report. The new policy will take effect in June.
Minnesota Public Radio broke the news ahead of Walz's 3 p.m. briefing.
Sources tell the radio station that Walz will not allow customers to be served at the bar or inside tables. Saloons can provide in-shop services "at a limited capacity," according to the report.
