Minnesota Congressional Delegation Gets More Red By 1 Seat
Minnesota will be represented by four Republicans and four Democrats in the U.S. House.

MINNESOTA — Election Day turned out to be a mixed bag for Minnesota Republicans. The state remained "blue" in both the presidential race and the U.S. Senate race.
However, the party expanded its footprint in Minnesota's congressional delegation. All incumbent House Republicans in Minnesota are headed for victory, and there will one more representative added to their ranks.
Republican Michelle Fischbach is projected to defeat Democratic Rep. Collin Peterson, who has represented western Minnesota since 1991.

Despite his district voting heavily for Republican Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, Peterson was returned to office for another term that year. But 2020 proved too different.
