Minnesota Vs. Michigan State In NCAA Tournament: TV, Game Time

DES MOINES, IA — The Minnesota Golden Gophers were responsible for breaking many brackets across America Thursday. The No. 10-seeded Gophers upset No. 7 Louisville in a game they dominated nearly from start to finish.

"So proud of our guys effort today vs a tough Louisville team," head coach Rich Pitino said on Twitter after the game. "Thanks to all our fans. They brought it. See everyone Saturday!"

Based on crowd noise alone, it was clear many Gopher fans made the short journey from Minneapolis to Des Moines Thursday.

Now, the Gophers will face an even tougher matchup Saturday. They'll taken on Big Ten rival Michigan State. The Spartans are a two-seed in the NCAA tournament.

The winner of Saturday's game will head to the Sweet Sixteen.
