Minnesota Stands with Cecil

Event to be held on Saturday, August 15th for Cecil the Lion. Internationally recognized aerial artist, John Quigley attending.

Cecil was a King among Lions...

A grassroots memorial for Cecil the Lion who was senselessly murdered by a Minnesota Dentist in Africa. This murder of Cecil by a man from Minnesota has tarnished the image of Minnesotans. We are asking you to join with us and show the world that we stand with Cecil and so many other animals who are trophy hunted each year.

Joining us that day will be John Quigley, an international artist who’s visual art places human participants standing in different designs to create an image in the air. Once the participants are arranged on the ground, aerial photos are taken and the beautiful creations are seen. John’s art has been called aerial art, human sculptures and living art. John has perfected his art at venues across the United States and around the world. Including a lion last year in South Africa where 1500 school children formed a beautiful lion’s head.
Our goal will be to create the world’s largest human lion with the help of John!

We ask that you where white, yellow, beige, or gold in order to create the contrast. This is a family friendly event, children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite animal costumes.
