Vikings Playoff Odds: Updated
The Minnesota Vikings can secure a playoff spot next week by beating the Chicago Bears.
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Vikings took care of business Sunday against the Detroit Lions to move to 8-6-1 on the season. Unfortunately, so did Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles.
That means if Minnesota wants the last wildcard spot in the NFC, the Vikings will either have to win against the Chicago Bears next week or hope the Eagles lose.
The only scenario in which Minnesota is knocked out of the playoffs is if the Vikings lose and the Eagles win next week.

FiveThirtyEight says the Vikings have a 72 percent of making the playoffs. Philadelphia has a 28 percent chance.
The Vikings take on the Bears Sunday, Dec. 30 at 3:25 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium.
