Minnesota Weather: 1-3 Inches Of Snow For Twin Cities
Minnesotans can expect thunderstorms Monday and snow Tuesday.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Minnesota's weather cool-down starts Monday, with showers and thunderstorms arriving this afternoon. There will be chances for snow this week starting Tuesday.
"Light snow is expected across the entire coverage area late tonight through Tuesday evening," says the National Weather Service. "Snow accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches, highest of which will fall north of Interstate 94."

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Temperature rising to near 68 by noon, then falling to around 50 during the remainder of the day. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Rain showers before 4am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 4am and 5am, then a chance of snow showers after 5am. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 32. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
