Minnesota Weather: Flooding 'Kicks Into Gear'
As snow continues to melt, the rivers will begin to rise quickly in Minnesota.

TWIN CITIES, MN — With almost all of the snow melted across Minnesota, flooding is expected to begin this week. "It will remain mild this week, with rivers rising as our spring snow melt flood kicks into gear," states the National Weather Service.
"There are a couple of chances for precipitation next week, though nothing major is expected with some light snow Tuesday night and a chance for light rain on Thursday."
Here's the NWS forecast for the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
