Minnesota Weather: Frost Advisory In Effect

Wintery weather will arrive in Minnesota Saturday night.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area and much of central Minnesota Saturday night. Counties in the advisory area include Wright, Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Carver, Scott, Dakota, Le Sueur, Rice, and Goodhue.

"Temperatures as low as 32 will result in frost formation," the NWS warns. "Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered."

Saturday Night: Areas of frost after 5am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Sunday: Areas of frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 54. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday:Sunny, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Monday Night:Mostly clear, with a low around 48. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest after midnight.
Tuesday; Sunny, with a high near 70. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday Night;Mostly clear, with a low around 51. West northwest wind around 10 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Night:Clear, with a low around 41. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north northwest in the evening.
Thursday:Sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. South wind around 10 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. South wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 73. West southwest wind around 5 mph.
