Minnesota Weather: Memorial Day Weekend Forecast
Here's the weather to expect for the long weekend in Minnesota.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect rain throughout this year's Memorial Day weekend. The National Weather Service is predicting showers and thunderstorms at various points Saturday through Monday.
"This weekend will have cloudy skies with chances for thunderstorms," NWS said in a statement.
"We're not expecting all-day rain, so there should be dry breaks in between. Keep an eye out for stronger storms on Sunday, especially in southern Minnesota."

Saturday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
