Minnesota Weather: Slight Chance For Snow This Week

There will be a small chance for snow in the Twin Cities when the temperatures drop into the low 30s.

TWIN CITIES, MN — There is a small chance for snow showers later this week when the temperatures drop into the low 30s. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature "a slight chance of rain and snow showers," the National Weather Service said.

Here's the NWS forecast for the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro this week:

Monday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am. Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 62. West northwest wind around 15 mph.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 61. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 46. West wind around 5 mph becoming south after midnight.
Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. West northwest wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46. West northwest wind around 5 mph.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West northwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
