Minnesotans can expect a cooler couple of days after a scorching week.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Minnesotans can expect a slight cooler weekend following a week of hot and humid weather in the 90s. "High pressure will settle in today. Temperatures will be pleasant, winds will be light and humidity levels will be tolerable. Shower and thunderstorm chances return tonight and Saturday," states the National Weather Service.

Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light in the evening.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Light north northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
