TWIN CITIES, MN — After a wildly warm weekend in Minnesota, weather more typical of November will arrive this week in the Twin Cities. "Our week of unseasonably warm weather is about to come to an abrupt end," says the National Weather Service.
There will be several chances for snow this week, especially on Tuesday, where up to 2 inches of snow could fall during the day.
More snow is possible next weekend.

Here's the Twin Cities forecast from the National Weather Service:
Monday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Temperature rising to near 65 by 11am, then falling to around 54 during the remainder of the day. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Rain showers before 3am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 3am and 5am, then a chance of snow showers after 5am. Low around 32. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tuesday: Snow showers likely before 2pm, then snow showers likely, possibly mixed with rain between 2pm and 5pm, then snow showers likely after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. North northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 24. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 42. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind around 5 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 41. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. South wind around 10 mph.
Saturday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
