TWIN CITIES, MN — A winter storm will make driving conditions a challenge Thursday afternoon. "A narrow band of snow will move from west to east today with visibility less than a half mile possible at times," says the National Weather Service.

"This could lead to slick spots on roads even though snowfall totals will only be around 1 to 2 inches. Please drive slowly and with caution."

Up to three inches of snow could fall in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
