Minnesota Weather: Twin Cities Timeline For Snow Tuesday
Much of central Minnesota is expected to get 2 inches of snow, and up to 5 inches is possible in the Twin Cities metro Tuesday.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Minnesota's first real snowfall is still set to start Tuesday in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. According to the National Weather Service, the snow will begin "mainly" after 9 a.m., and it "could be heavy at times."
Up to five inches of snow is possible in parts of the metro, NWS says, with most places getting at least 2 inches.
It's not clear when the snow will stop. However, there's a chance for rain Tuesday evening — starting at 8 p.m. — as the weather warms a bit.
