TWIN CITIES, MN — Thursday will be the last day of bitter cold this week. Mild temperatures are expected to arrive just in time for the weekend. "We have one more morning of frigid wind chills before the end of week warmup begins," says the National Weather Service.

There will be several chances for snow next week.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
