MN State Fair Weather: Thursday, Friday Look Ideal But Storms Saturday

TWIN CITIES, MN — The first two days of the Minnesota State Fair will be nearly picture-perfect. However, this weekend could feature rain.

There will be a "gusty" thunderstorm in the afternoon on Saturday, and showers Sunday morning, according to Accuweather.

"Today and Friday look very nice. Occasional showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast this weekend, but it will not be a washout," the National Weather Service said.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 8am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 77. North wind around 10 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 81. South wind around 5 mph.
