The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party filed the legal challenge Thursday petitioning the state's highest court to remove Trump and running mate Mike Pence from the Minnesota ballot.

DFL Chair Ken Martin contended that Republicans did not properly select the party's alternative electors for getting Trump on the Minnesota ballot, and therefore believed that Trump's name should be removed from the ballot.
