TWIN CITIES, MN — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch through Wednesday night that includes all of the Twin Cities metro area.
Tuesday will be hot, but Wednesday will be even hotter. The heat index could rise to 107 degrees in the Twin Cities metro Wednesday.
"Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities," the NWS warns.

"Be prepared to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors."
A Heat Advisory has been issued for this afternoon from 1pm - 9pm, with an Excessive Heat Watch still in place through Wednesday at 9pm. Tomorrow will be hotter than today, with heat index values in the 100s. #mnwx #wiwx pic.twitter.com/yTghMKR7CL
