MN Weather: Arctic Cold Sets In Again Late Next Week

TWIN CITIES, MN — Arctic cold will return to the Twin Cities late next week after a relatively mild weekend. The low on Wednesday night will fall to 11 degrees below zero.

Before then, several inches of snow are expected to fall in the metro.

Friday: Snow, mainly before 5pm. High near 19. East wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow before 7pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 1. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 14. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of snow before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
