MN Weather: Here's When We Could Actually See Some Snow

TWIN CITIES, MN — The weather has been so mild this week, you'd almost forget it's December. But that is about to change, with more seasonal temperatures in the forecast.

In fact, there's even some chance for snow.

According to Accuweather, the Twin Cities forecast calls for "A coating to an inch" on Sunday. The National Weather Service, however, says it might be more of a mix of rain and snow.

The low will fall to 15 degrees by Tuesday when there is a chance that we may finally have to break out the shovels for that day's snowfall.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of snow between 9pm and 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow before midnight, then a slight chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a steady temperature around 22. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
