The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area will see a couple of chances for severe weather to end the week.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area will see a couple of chances for severe weather to end the week.
"A few storms this evening into tonight could be severe with large hail as the main risk," the National Weather Service said Friday.
"There will be a window for thunderstorms again on Saturday, possibly strong to severe. Overall confidence in storms on Saturday remains low, so please continue to monitor for forecast updates."

Friday Night: Rain and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 59 by 5am. Breezy, with a southeast wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
