MN Weather: Light Snow 'Likely' Thursday, NWS Says
Weather far more typical of December in Minnesota will arrive Thursday and last at least through the end of the year.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Following Thursday's historic storm, which brought thunderstorms and temperatures into the high 50s, parts of the Twin Cities metro may see some snow.
"Light snow is also possible but less than an inch is expected," the National Weather Service said.
Friday will see another chance for light snow.

Here's the full NWS forecast for the Twin Cities metro area:
Thursday: Snow likely, mainly between 9am and noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 20 by 10am. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 14. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.
Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 22. East northeast wind around 5 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 21. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 8. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 27. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 26. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 24. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
