MN Weather: Summer Weather Will Return, But Not Yet

TWIN CITIES, MN — Summer weather will return, but not yet. Most of this week will feel more like fall.

However, warm summer weather will return by Memorial Day weekend.

"Cool start to the week with partly to mostly clouds skies expected Monday and Tuesday," the National Weather Service said.

"The next chance for showers comes on Wednesday into Thursday, with increased probability for areas south and west of the Metro. Warmer to end the week."

Monday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 64. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light east southeast in the evening.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 66. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. East wind 5 to 10 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Showers. High near 57. Northeast wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
