MN Weather: Week-Ahead Forecast

TWIN CITIES, MN — High temperatures will bounce from the teens into the 30s this week, with a couple of chances for snow.

"Gusty southeast winds on Tuesday could blow around some of the recent snow as a system moves north of the area," the National Weather Service said.

"There is a small chance for snow north and east Tuesday night. Temperatures fall on Wednesday. A better chance for snow comes Friday."

Tuesday: Patchy blowing snow between 2pm and 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 31. Breezy, with a southeast wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 21 by 5pm. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 2. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 12. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -5. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast after midnight.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 34. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 6. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 25. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.
