MN Weather: 'Widespread Haze' And Smoke Continue

The air quality is particularly bad in northern Minnesota.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect more haze and smoke as a result of the Canadian wildfires located just north of Minnesota. The air quality is particularly bad in northern Minnesota.

"Patchy fog will dissipate quickly after sunrise, otherwise, warmer today under mostly sunny skies," the National Weather Service said. "Temperatures get even warmer into next week with several days of dry weather expected."

Friday: Widespread haze before 11am, then widespread haze after 4pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Widespread haze. Clear, with a low around 62. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Widespread haze. Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
