MN Weather: Wind Chills Will Reach -22 In Twin Cities
Following additional snow Wednesday, hazardous wind chills will arrive throughout central Minnesota.

TWIN CITIES, MN — After Wednesday's snow and high winds, residents in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area can expect a steep drop in temperatures. Wind chill values will fall to 22 degrees below zero by Thursday.
"Travel will be hazardous through this afternoon, as light snow and wind gusts up to 40 mph lead to areas of blowing snow and low visibility," the National Weather Service said.
"Temperatures plummet today through Friday morning, with hazardous wind chills expected."

Wednesday: Snow, mainly before 11am. Temperature falling to around 7 by 5pm. Wind chill values as low as -10. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before 1am. Cloudy, with a low around -4. Wind chill values as low as -19. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny and cold, with a high near -2. Wind chill values as low as -22. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -17. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 9. Light south southwest wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 14 by 5am. South southeast wind around 15 mph.
