MN Weather: Winter Temperatures Return
The final days of March will feature cooler temperatures in the Twin Cities metro area.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Don't put away that winter jacket quite yet. The final days of March will feature cooler temperatures in the Twin Cities metro area.
On top of the cold temperatures, up to a half-inch of snow could accumulate by Wednesday night.
"Rain and Snow will continue into this afternoon that could result in some slushy accumulations by sunset before tapering off this evening," the National Weather Service said. "Weather pattern dries out and temperatures cool as we wrap up March."

Wednesday: Rain, possibly mixed with snow. High near 39. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Rain likely, possibly mixed with snow, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy, with a low around 34. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Thursday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 46. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: A slight chance of rain and snow between 8am and 1pm, then a slight chance of rain after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
