More Chances For Snow This Week: Minnesota Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — More snow could be coming our way this week in Minnesota. "Cold today with wind chills in the teens through most of the day," National Weather Service said Sunday.

"Light snow is expected this afternoon, accumulations near half an inch across southern MN to a dusting up to the I-94 corridor. Temperatures fall to near-record cold values tonight through Tuesday."

Here's the NWS forecast for the Twin Cities this week:

Sunday Night: Scattered flurries before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 11. North wind 10 to 15 mph.

Veterans Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 17. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 5. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light west after midnight.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 20. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. South wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 31. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light south southeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 19. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 33. West wind around 5 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph.
