New Report Ranks Minnesota’s 100 Best School Districts

MINNESOTA — Niche has ranked Minnesota’s best school districts for 2019. The rankings were released this week as part of the website's 2019 K-12 rankings.

Niche ranked a total of 100 school districts in Minnesota. Wayzata, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Edina, and Orono closed out the top five spots in the state.

Here are the top school districts in Minnesota that received a minimum Niche grade of B:

According to Niche, the Jericho Union Free School District in Jericho, New York, is the best school district in the country overall. With an overall Niche grade of A+, the district received a grade of A+ in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep and health and safety. In the category of diversity, Niche awarded the school district a B+.

To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
