Gov. Tim Walz is launching a print and video campaign to remind residents to stay home and stop spreading the coronavirus.

SAINT PAUL, MN — On Friday, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz launched a 'Stay at Home' order directing residents to remain home to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Now, Walz is trying to make sure everyone knows about it.
Walz has begun airing a series of PSAs asking residents to stay home whenever possible, and directing them to the Department of Health's website for any updates on the coronavirus outbreak. The governor says his office is also working on buying print ads for newspapers across the state.
Walz says, the state has got to do everything in its power to keep the people informed:

“COVID-19 presents an unprecedented challenge to our state. The State of Minnesota and our private partners are doing everything we can to protect Minnesotans, but we need your help. Minnesotans, stay home and let’s make sure we keep our family, our friends, and our neighbors safe.”
Walz also asks that residents do what they can to stay informed, and not give in to fear or panic.
The order went into effect on Friday and will last two weeks through April 10th.
