NFL Players Around the League Show Teddy Bridgewater Support

NFL players used social media to offer prayers and show support for Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who tore his ACL Tuesday.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater tore his ACL and suffered other structural damage during a non-contact play at practice Tuesday.

Vikings Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman said that Bridgewater suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage. There appears to be no nerve or arterial damage, and surgical repair will be scheduled within the next few days.

Sugerman added that although the recovery time will be significant, he expects Bridgewater to make a full recovery.

When news of Bridgewater's injury began to spread, NFL players from around the league took time to offer prayers and show the 3rd year quarterback support.

The Vikings will play their final preseason game at U.S. Bank Stadium Thursday.
