No. 8 Minnesota Upset By Iowa: Star QB In Concussion Protocol
The Minnesota Gophers have suffered their first loss of 2019.

DINKYTOWN, MN — The Minnesota Gophers' undefeated streak has come to an end. No. 20 Iowa upset No. 8 Minnesota in Iowa City — 23 to 19 — to retain the "Floyd of Rosedale" rivalry trophy.
The 9-0 Gophers had a chance to go up with a touchdown in the last minute of the game, but a couple of sacks sent Minnesota star quarterback Tanner Morgan to the sidelines with an apparent head injury. The backup QB came in, and threw an interception on 4th and long.

With a one-game lead over Wisconsin, Minnesota still controls their destiny when it comes to making the Big Ten title game. They will have to beat Northwestern on the road next week, and defeat Wisconsin at home at the end of the month.
