Police Recover Body from Mississippi River Near U of M
The body was recovered two days after a University of Minnesota employee went missing after work.

Minneapolis, MN – The body of an adult male was pulled from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis Saturday night, according to the University of Minnesota police.
Police say they’re waiting for official confirmation on the identity from the Medical Examiner’s office.

The body was recovered just two days after a University of Minnesota employee went missing after work.

Rinzin Dorjee was reported missing by a co-worker at the University of Minnesota late Thursday night.

Subsequent searches of the location found blood in the area and determined that Mr. Dorjee may have been injured while at work.
Video shows him leaving the building alone and walking toward the area of Fulton Street SE and Ontario Street SE. His vehicle was located unoccupied and he has not returned home. It does not appear that he sought medical attention.
