'Picture Perfect' Weather On Wednesday: MN Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Twin Cities metro area will see two more days of warmth before a quick cool down on Friday. Temperatures will rise again this weekend.

"Warm, sunny weather will make today nearly picture perfect," the National Weather Service said.

"Gusty winds expected Thursday with light snow possible in southeastern MN and western WI in the morning, followed by another chance of light snow area-wide in the afternoon. Cool weather briefly visits before we warm up again this weekend."

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 40. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: A chance of snow between 1pm and 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 23. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
