Say Goodbye To 'SuperAmerica'
The change comes after Marathon Petroleum purchased SuperAmerica's parent company.

MINNESOTA — SuperAmerica, the Twin Cities-based gas station chain founded in 1960, will now become Speedway. Earlier this year, Marathon Petroleum announced it would buyout Andeavor, which owns SuperAmerica.

The sale was finalized earlier this month, reports KSTP. Speedway, a Marathon subsidiary, owns and operates the nation's second-largest convenience store chain, with about 2,740 convenience stores in 21 states.
