This week will bring calm but increasingly cold air to the Twin Cities metro area.

TWIN CITIES, MN — This week will bring calm, but increasingly cold air to the Twin Cities metro area. Temperatures will fall below 0 degrees by Saturday.
"Some sun will try and sneak through today in Western MN, otherwise predominately cloudy over the next few days with a few chances of light snow across the region," the National Weather Service said.
"Only a few days left of seasonably warmer temperatures before a cool-down for the weekend."

Monday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before 2pm. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 32. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
