Teddy Bridgewater to Undergo Knee Surgery Thursday
The Vikings still believe Teddy Bridgewater will make a full recovery and resume his NFL career, but more will be known after the surgery.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is scheduled for surgery Thursday to repair his torn ACL and other structural damage in his left knee, according to ESPN reporter Ed Werder.

Werder adds that the Vikings still believe Bridgewater will make a full recovery and resume his NFL career, but more will be known after the surgery.
The Vikings placed Bridgewater on injured reserve last week after the third-year quarterback tore his ACL and dislocated his knee at practice.

On Saturday, the Philadelphia Eagles traded quarterback Sam Bradford to the Vikings for a first-round pick in 2017 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2018.
In college, Bradford won the Heisman Trophy as a redshirt freshman for the Oklahoma Sooners. Adrian Peterson played with Bradford on the Sooners that year before entering the NFL.

Bradford was the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. He won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2010.
