Back for its 5th year, Thrill the World Minneapolis is set to give young and old Halloween lovers the chance to participate in an afternoon of fun, including a worldwide simultaneous dance of Thriller right in the heart of downtown Kenwood. Thrill the World is the ultimate Halloween-Style Block Party. Put on your best Halloween costume, zombies preferred, and join the whole city for an afternoon of fun.
The highlight of the festival, scheduled at 4pm, is a “flash mob” dance performance set to Thriller. The dance is open to all ages and physical ability levels. Free dance practices are scheduled at Kenwood Rec Center on October 9th at 7pm, October 12th at 4pm and October 20th at 4pm. Come to one or all. Practice participants will be eligible to win a door prize sponsored by Framestyles.

Thrill the World Minneapolis is hosted by beARTrageous, with support from the Kenwood Isles Area Association, the Lowry Hill Neighborhood Association and local businesses. Proceeds will benefit local non-profit, The Bridge for Youth, an emergency shelter for 10-17 year old youth. Participants are encouraged to bring spare change and dollars to donate to The Bridge for Youth and make a direct impact on the lives of children in our community.
