Trump To Visit Duluth, Minnesota Wednesday: Time, Schedule

DULUTH, MN — President Donald Trump will land at the Duluth International Airport in Minnesota just before 8 p.m. Wednesday for his campaign rally. "President Trump is making his seventh trip to our great state to tell Minnesota families exactly why this state and the country need another four more years of a Trump Administration," Republican Party of Minnesota Chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan said in a statement.

Vice President Mike Pence, Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, and Don Trump Jr. also made visits to the state in September.

"It is clear that Minnesota is in play, and we will send our ten electoral votes to President Donald J. Trump," Carnahan added.

Trump has been vocal about how close he came to winning Minnesota in 2016. Minnesota hasn't broken for a Republican presidential candidate since 1972, but Trump lost to Hillary Clinton by less than 45,000 votes.

He's said in the past that "one more speech" would have made the difference in 2016.

"Donald Trump nearly won Minnesota in 2016 and he has made it a 'personal challenge' to win it in 2020," Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar wrote in a recent campaign email for Tina Smith.

"Donald Trump thinks he can win Minnesota. We're going to prove him wrong."

Both Democrats and Republics are making Minnesota a national priority this fall.
